I bought "Basic Trackwork" hoping it would have a lot of info on wiring trackwork for digital use. That is not it's focus. But this is an outstanding publication for laying trackwork, making it work, and handlaying track, making it look realistic. The book finds a good place in my reference library (after I read it a second time). I find going digital very scary in N scale, and am looking for all of the assistance I can find in publications before I start laying track again.But for anyone starting, or re-laying trackwork, Jeff's book has a lot of important, and great pointers. I think it's a publication and every model railroader should have in his layout room.

I'm getting to be a broken record here, but once again, and like his other books, I found this to be a fine and very useful introduction of the subject. He also had an up to date listing of manufacturers that is very helpful. For inexperienced and moderately experienced model railroaders you just can't go wrong with Jeff Wilson's books.

Covers all aspects of track laying including weathering, special trackwork, handlaying, superevevation, and many other aspects. Does not cover wiring. A must have.

Provides great explanation of techniques and tools. Would recommend to anyone, new to railroading or not, wanting to get off to the right start.

Came on time and the information in the publication was extremely helpful.

I have been waiting for years for this guide to come out in English. The wait was worth it. I have made it a point over the years, to visit these villages that are in this group. They have been some of the greatest highlights of the already wonderful country of France. I hope I can keep on seeing these wonderful places and maybe complete the set someday. This guide book will make it easier to select and and go there. Previously I just had a Michelin map that showed where these villages were. Now the book with it's maps and brief paragraphs about each village will take over.

An incredibly beautiful book, but SUPER annoying that none of the pictures have labels.

This book was ok. The picture are so so. It would have been nice if it showed where they were on a map.

Book holds all the info and lovely graphic needed to plan a trip thorough the off-the-beaten-track of the French countryside. Organized by region, it is easy to use. Maps are VERY helpful. Perfect for touring France DIY-style.

I thought the book was a good read! many people will probably say hes lying or something like that but i mean you kind of have to believe both sides really. does anyone argue the fact that em was taking alot of drugs back then? doubt it so this book was an interesting need

3 sides to every story. Easy read. You can feel the author's frustration. I'd recommend for an Eminem fan. I think there's certainly truth in this. It's not great writing, but certainly readable. It tells this story pretty well though.

Was a good quick read. Gives insight into life of the rapper with some surprises

I was really hoping this book would be more about Eminem. WAY more about Eminem. Instead, it's Byron's soapbox for whining about his pay (literally, he does that for about 65% of the book) and having to see far too many exclamation points (he writes like a third grader, at best).There are some juicy parts here and there, but this book was really just for Byron to get all his grievances off his chest. Which is too bad, because no one cares about him - we want to read about the man you were being paid (poorly, I know - we get it) to protect.I found myself skipping through so many parts - just not a good book overall.

I thought this book was an excellent reference for a beginning artist interested in fluid artistry ”how-tos”. I loved the photos and Rick’s explanations and descriptions. However, I lowered my rating for this book because I bought another book by Rick Cheadle sold here on Amazon, and under a *different* but admittedly similar name. I found it to be *identical* in every way exept for the annoying formatting in the other book. For those of you who buy a few books on topics you are researching, you won't need to purchase the book entitled ”Fluid Art Mastery: 8 Steps to Being a Paint Pouring Artist” if you purchase this one. And I do recommend this one for newbie pour artists, as it is very good. I just feel a little annoyed that I am having to return a book that is exactly the same as this one.

EVERYthing you need to know about paint pouring. This book had it all: From buying supplies, to SELLING your finished project. Tons of info, lots of demo photos that you can actually see .... and ESPECIALLY lots of samples of his art at the back. BTW if you want to see the photos at a larger size, hold your finger on the picture till a pop-up window with ZOOM shows up and click on it. You will have the photo fill up the screen to see more detail.

This book was informative but stopped being useful about as abruptly as it began. The mixing recipes are really only 2 types. Expensive and Budget and just 1 of each. The techniques used were all ones I had guessed or experimented on my own. Included was a hammering method which just looks and sounds absurd and messy. Overall, I wish I had this book when I first started so as to save myself some headaches and money in mixing the paints. This book is for the beginner, if you have been pouring for a while, even a month, you wont learn anything.
